The rest of the way requires a mule caravan. Riding a chestnut mule, led by a herder holding the reins, the hooves clatter on the rocky slope. The altitude rises, the wind cools, and the air thins. After an hour and a half, the mule stops on the ridge—Lenggaco has arrived. The lake is small, but its blue is unique. The water is calm and still, like a mirror forgotten on the plateau.
