Visiting Hokkaido, this time I stayed at the Kitayuzawa Mori no Soraniwa Onsen Hotel. On the way back from visiting Lake Shikotsu on the outskirts of Sapporo, I took a little detour to Mushroom Kingdom. The mushroom soup was excellent. I also had mushroom mixed rice and tempura. They provide to free pick up from Sapporo station and drop off shuttle bus, that’s really convenient! Located in Mori no Soraniwa This is the first introduction to Asoboya! It was so much fun that we split into two groups (lol) Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are rules such as wearing masks, so we followed the rules, including inside the building, and had fun playing to the fullest. Everything is child-sized, with playhouses and blocks in the small house, and a fun swing that sways back and forth in the elevator hall, although it doesn't move. This time, we chose a Japanese-Western style room, taking into consideration that our child is 2 years old and still running around. With tatami mats, you can take off your shoes and laze around, so it's recommended for adults too! And what I thought was great about this system was the amenities!!! In the elevator hall, there are amenities like those in the room, such as toothbrush sets and brushes, so please take only what you need!! This is great! You don't have to take what you don't need... but the ones in the room are a bit insufficient. I wish there was an extra toothbrush set for the kids, but there's no hassle of having to call the front desk! The kids can choose what they like and use it! It's fine if they both have the same color! Also, I wanted to use both my daughter and I'd like to use hair ties (lol), so we got a few extra and made sure we only used them in the hotel! It's also great that the hotel wear is available in the lobby! You can take it after checking in, there are three sizes for children, and even a large size for adults, so you don't have to ask the front desk for a larger size, so it's not embarrassing (lol) There are only towels in the room, but it was nice to be able to choose what you like!
