I felt like all my negative thoughts were washed away along with the falling water. You can soak in the negative ions while forest bathing, and the sounds of the earth and water provide natural healing ♪ In autumn, the leaves turn a vivid vermilion, creating a wonderful contrast 🍁 【Ryujin Waterfall】(Photos 12-15) 📍 1057-4 Kawaue, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture It is located about a 30-minute drive from Fudo Waterfall. While Fudo Waterfall was amazing, Ryujin Waterfall features a more striking emerald green color, and it's said that the water changes color up to seven times a day, showing shades like cobalt blue and emerald blue. There's also a boardwalk nearby, making it the perfect photo spot! If you ever have the chance to visit Gifu Prefecture, be sure to go and experience the lush, green nature 🌳

Chiyo was not only good at needlework but also good at writing. Legend has it that when Yamanouchi Kazutoyo was still a low-ranking samurai, he fell in love with a horse but had no money to buy it. When his wife Chiyo learned about it, she privately pawned her dowry to buy the horse. In 2022, it was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage as one of the "Furyu Odori" (elegant dances). 🌙 Held for only four days during Obon, the all-night dance takes place annually from August 13th to 16th. The entire town of Gujo Hachiman is enveloped in an unusual energy. 💃 Dancing continues from night until the next morning. As the name suggests, the biggest feature is that the dancing continues from night until the next morning! The end time varies from day to day, but many people are still participating in the dance circle even late into the night. 🙌 The charm of Gujo Odori, where tourists can freely participate, lies in the fact that it's not a "festival to watch," but a festival to dance along to. Hida-Takayama has a morning market, old streets, and breathtaking handheld fireworks and wind chime festivals. Kamikochi truly lives up to its reputation as the abode of the gods—it's incredibly beautiful. Even a casual two-hour walk yields stunning photos, though the trip is quite tiring. Gero Onsen has many frogs and about three free foot baths. The Ama Shrine in Shima is home to cheerful and talkative Ama women; chatting and eating with them was relaxing and enjoyable. I specifically booked a pearl-digging tour, which was eye-opening, learning about pearl formation, and even making jewelry from the pearls I dug. I was slightly disappointed that the main shrine of Ise Grand Shrine resembled a thatched hut. Gokoku Shrine's Manto Festival was beautiful, and I even witnessed a media interview with the Queen of Mie.
