Trolltunga is a rock formation situated about 1,100 metres above sea level in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The cliff juts horizontally out from the mountain, about 700 metres above the north side of the lake Ringedalsvatnet. Our recent stay at Vikinghaug Hotel in Odda was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the fjord and just a stone's throw from the Buer Glacier, the location alone makes it ideal for a mini holiday. Started off with some shopping in Odda. The town in a narrow valley between mountains and a lake. It is also tourist hub were many people start off their hiking to world famous Trolltunga-Rock. 🍲Siderhuset Ola K - we had lunch here. Not too far of a drive from Odda on the west side of the fjord. There is this beautiful restaurant by the water. It was raining so we opted to sit inside. We had a delicious fish soup. 🏨 Ullensvang hotel - After lunch we took the small ferry boat from Utne to Kinsarvik. We stayed one night at the hotel here. Beautiful experience by the fjord. 🥂 Cider tasting at Opedalstunet - super nice experience with the apple farmer and his son giving us the tour of the farm where we ended up tasting some of their own produced cider from Hardanger. Låtefossen - we stoped by one of the spectacular waterfalls on the way back home again. April is a good time to catch the apple farms in bloom. An amazing hut that has everything you need for a unique getaway! The hard work that the owners have put in to build this awesome place cannot be underestimated. It was an amazing stay at Woodnest. The photos don´t do justice, it is even better 🤩 if you like to walk, the walk is not that difficult it just adds to the uniqueness of this place! One of the most beautiful places I had the chance to stay at, 100% recommended. Thank you guys for what you have created ❤️ We are also very impressed by the cleaning staff who takes the rather difficult hike every single day to make sure the guests feel welcome in a clean hut!

Tip would be to pre book parking at P3 so you can start further up the mountain without having to wait for a shuttle bus! It costs about 500 kr buts it’s well worth it. Once at the top try get someone to take a pic of you as it’s a little far from the actual younger

#celebratewithtrip I'm on the edge (nyanyi gaya Gaga ok) - at the tip of the tongue Subhanallah :) Checked the infamous #trolltunga a.k.a #trollkykra a.k.a #trollstigen. The 11km trail was challenging especially at KM1. Ascending took around 4hr 45 mins mainly because as a typical Malaysian, every spot worth a click :p Spent 1 & a half hour at the top and descending took 4 hours.Hate that last 1KM !!?##### Plus walking on the snow is definitely not my forte.
