It is an old hot spring that has been around for a long time. It is a natural hot spring source. The front is next to the main road and the back is surrounded by forests. It is open for visitors and free relaxation. It is built as a cement pond with hot water, warm water and cold water. Now, it has been developed to provide more convenience. There are 4 rooms in total. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There are rules and procedures for soaking in mineral water. You must study them carefully. Everything has both advantages and disadvantages. If your body is not ready or uses it for too long, you can ask the staff in charge. On the day I went, they explained how to turn on the hot and cold water and the duration of the soak in detail. Most importantly, soap is not allowed. Various chemicals or spas, because they cause the wastewater to clog the tree. In addition, there is a pavilion for relaxing and a long bridge across the pond to the tent area. Wat Phra That Sam Duang According to legend, this pagoda was built around 1839 B.E. and was later renovated in 1933 B.E. by the disciples of Khru Ba Sin Tham and Khru Ba Chaiya to be used as a place for monks to practice Dhamma. Originally, it was an abandoned temple with the remains of three ancient brick pagodas and many broken and dilapidated laterite Buddha images. From the broken bricks, it is estimated that they are at least 700 years old. Later, the remains of the Buddha images were stolen, leaving only the collapsed pagoda (chedi). According to the National Office of Buddhism, the temple was established on March 13, 2013.

#Doi Luang is located in Doi Luang National Park, an area that includes Phayao, Lampang and Chiang Rai provinces. It is a fairly brutal hiking and nature study trail. With its steepness that gradually climbs to the highest peak at 1,694 meters above sea level, this place became another trip that impressed us and won our hearts. On the top of Doi Luang, you can pitch a tent. There is a 360-degree viewpoint amidst a million-dollar mountain view. There are no amenities, no bathrooms, no electricity. Tourists must prepare their own body and cooking equipment. #Phayao #Chiang Rai #Lampang #Doi Luang National Park #Hiking #Mountains #Hello Strangers #Northeastern Team #Waiting for the Day to Depart #Missing Nature

Let me say something unpopular: Erawan is overrated. Thailand has 156 national parks, and yet most people go to the same few, and Erawan is one of them. We went there with my parents in November, and honestly, I barely filmed anything. 🤔 Why It Did Not Impress Me Big crowds, and the waterfall itself is not that remarkable compared to what else Thailand has. Thi Lo Su in Umphang is far more impressive. And Pu Kaeng waterfall in Doi Luang National Park has nine cascades, a lot like Erawan, but we were completely alone there, because nobody bothers to walk up to level nine. 👍 To Be Fair Erawan is easy: you can walk along the cascades calmly and swim in the pools. If you want a simple, comfortable day trip, it works. ⚠️ Important Tips: Look further: Thailand has so many parks, pick one that tourists skip. If you go: Come early, before the tour groups. Swimming: Bring a swimsuit, the pools are the best part. Do you think Erawan is worth the hype? 👇 #overratedspots

Phan district, Chiang Rai province — hills, rice fields, and almost no foreign visitors. And a farm café where you can stay the night in a caravan. 🚐 The caravan A proper touring caravan, parked with an awning out and chairs underneath it, on the farm grounds. Inside there is a bed, a small kitchen with a coffee machine, curtains, and windows on every side that look into the fields. It does not drive anywhere — that is the point. You get the shape of a road trip with none of the driving. ☕ Mornings Coffee at the little table by the window with the fields waking up outside was the best part of this stay. It is a very quiet place. 🌾 The setting Northern Thailand's countryside in the cool season is at its best in December and January — golden fields, mist in the mornings, and temperatures that actually require a jacket. ☕ The café The farm runs a café on site, open through the day, and it is the reason most people come here in the first place. 📍 Getting here Ban Ing Doi, Phan district, Chiang Rai. You need your own transport — this is deep in the countryside between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. ✅ Tips ✅ Come in the cool season, November–February ✅ Bring a warm layer, northern nights drop sharply ✅ You need a car or scooter; there is no public transport here ✅ Café hours are roughly 8:00–18:00 ✅ Combine it with Chiang Rai's White Temple, about an hour away #travel2026#travel#naturalwonders#myitinerary

At first, I thought I wouldn't make it there 😂 Because on the way, the driver and the GPS were having a huge argument lol, to the point where we almost decided to turn the car around and go back. But once we actually arrived... I'm so glad we didn't! 😆 The temple is gorgeous. The art and architecture are quite unique, with what feels like a hint of Indian influence. The colors and details are everywhere—there's something to see no matter where you look 📸✨ What started as almost not making it became a place I would have deeply regretted missing if we had turned around that day 😂 Maybe the GPS doesn't actually want us to get lost... it's just testing the driver's patience first lol 🚗🤣 com
