It is also the only remaining colored temple in ancient Egypt, allowing us to more intuitively feel the magnificence of ancient Egyptian civilization. 📝The temple of Ramses III is the last large-scale construction project during the pharaoh's rule. It includes multiple areas such as the palace, workshops, storage rooms, and residences for priests and officials, showcasing the social life and economic development of that time. The murals depict the king's great achievements in expeditions. To prevent future pharaohs from erasing or destroying his murals, they were deliberately carved very deeply, serving as an anti-counterfeiting measure. The temple has 24 stone columns, each 23 meters high, with different deities carved on each column, reflecting the ancient Egyptians' piety and worship of the gods. The bases of the columns are carved with papyrus, symbolizing protection. 🎙️There will be guides at the entrance asking if you need an explanation (only in English).
