harbour front fortress

this beautiful fortress offers breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding cities. some locals suggested us that this is the perfect spot to watch sunset, so we arrived around 5pm. even after so many years, this fortress still look strong, it’s amazing that how well preserved it is. there are only part of the fortress are in ruins, the most of part of the fortress are well preserved. the ticket is really affordable and cheap, as one of the must see places in Alexandria, I recommend everyone to come here. you can take a walk around, and the museum explains that how arabs and Roman use to protect this critical gateway to Egypt from the Mediterranean Sea. this is truly the place where you get fresh air and experience the old civilization #passionpassport #gooutside #egypt #history
