Officially known as ‘Jardin d’essais du Hamma’, the garden began as a huge experiment during the French occupation of Algeria in the 1800’s. the garden contains over 8000 species! The garden is located in the heart of Algeria, opposite the monument of Algiers. The garden is huge and takes approximately between 3 to 4 hours to roam around the whole garden. The garden is reachable by the Underground line from the station ‘Hamma’ Opening times are 9am - 6pm and entry fee is £2 at the time of the posting.
