I love Chengkan, the number one ancient village in the south of the Yangtze River, even more than the famous Hongcun

Chengkan, listed as one of the most beautiful ancient villages by 'National Geographic', retains the beauty of the Huizhou-style architecture of southern Anhui. If you don't need one, just firmly refuse, or they will keep following you Chengkan has very little commercialization and still retains the simplicity of the village. It's less crowded and quiet, which is probably one of the reasons I like it here. A place of utter devotion, no dreams can reach Huizhou! This place is probably the ultimate retreat.
