Arxan National Forest Park

❤️ Arxan National Forest Park is located in the Tianchi Town of Arxan City, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on the southwestern slope of the Daxing'anling Mountains. Covering an area of 103,149 hectares, it is one of the largest enclosed scenic areas in China. It is famous for its unique volcanic lava landforms, dense virgin forests, and clear lakes and rivers. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a world geopark. 📌Main Attractions ✅‌Tuo Feng Ling Tian Chi‌ A high-altitude lake formed by volcanic eruptions, with a water surface elevation of nearly 1,300 meters. The lake is as calm as a mirror, surrounded by green pines and cypresses, forming a charming natural picture. ✅‌Arxan Tian Chi‌ Located at the top of Tianchi Ridge, with an altitude of 1,332.3 meters, it is one of the famous Tianchi in China. It is famous for its four wonders: "long drought without drying up, long rain without overflowing; no inlet or outlet; no fish in the lake." ✅‌Grand Canyon‌ A canyon naturally formed by volcanic lava fault zones, with a total length of about 11 kilometers. The canyon is full of strange rocks and streams, with spectacular and mysterious scenery. ✅‌Rhododendron Lake‌ A volcanic lava dammed lake, named after the blooming rhododendrons on the lakeside in spring. The lake is full of aquatic plants, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, like a beautiful watercolor painting. ✅‌San Tan Gorge‌ A canyon located in the upper reaches of the Halaha River, about 3 kilometers long.
