Dream Mountain at the Bavarian Alps

#celebratewithtrip We visited Kampenwand this first week of January. It is located in Aschau, Chiemgau, a region in Bavaria, Germany. The mountain is 1669 meters high and accessible by cable cars. The cable car will bring you to the top of the mountain. We went there at around 10 am to be there on the top earlier. The ticket cost 23€ per adult. The cable car ride was about 15 minutes long so I had enough time to enjoy the scenery especially the view of the whole Chiemsee (lake). It was an amazing experience to see its nature’s beauty. Kampenwand is popular for skiing holidays in winter and hiking activities in summer. I would recommend wearing a pair of hiking shoes. Going there by car is also more convenient. There is a big parking area that cost 5€ parking fee for a day. #kampenwand #germany #nationalpark #mountain #europe #hiking
