At Aso Shrine, aside from visiting the main hall, I made a special stop at the entrance to admire the Takasago Pine (also known as the Matchmaking Pine). According to legend, men should circle it twice counterclockwise, while women should circle it twice clockwise to pray for good relationships. Nearby, there is also a wishing stone that can be gently touched. It is said that if you place your wish in your palm and quietly touch the stone, your wish will be heard.
