Royally beautiful Water Temple in Ubud

#balitrip #bali #temple #island #indonesia Saraswati Temple (also known as the Ubud water palace) is an old Hindu temple located right in the center of Ubud center, very near Ubud Palace. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Saraswati, the goddess of learning, literature, and art. There is a beautiful lotus pond in the temple, old traditional Balinese architecture, artistic wall patterns and some of the most beautiful stone carvings in Bali. This temple is extremely accessible to anyone in Ubud as it is right in the busy center and entrance is free. It takes only about 15 minutes to walk through and see the whole palace. Opening hours are from 7am to 5pm, but morning is the best time to visit because it gets pretty crowded in the afternoon. 
If you want to continue the cultural experience, there’s also a traditional Balinese dance performance at 7:30 PM every night, which costs around $5 USD.
