Good italian food

We didn't expect to find good Italian food in Bali, I mean they have italian restaurants but the taste is never what you'd ideally want. But Mauri surprised us. Food was impeccably done and service top notch. Prices here for their set menu and tasting menu, although expensive by Bali standards, was a steal when compared to other countries. We tried both the signature and discovery tasting menus, and each was truly remarkable. Highlights of the meal included the crudo appetizers—the ricciola with almond and the tuna with burrata were fantastic. We were also pleasantly surprised by the simplicity yet sophisticated flavors of the parmesan ravioli and beef tortellini. I would highly recommend this place for people with fondness for italian food. #indonesiatrip
