The second highest peak in Bali, mount Batur

No visit to Bali is complete without a sunrise trek to Mount Batur. We climbed to the peak of this former volcano in an October visit. At over 1000m high, a good degree of fitness is required to climb. Many tours will include pick up services at 2 or 3am from Ubud and Seminyak. Unfortunately we encountered lots of cloud cover on our trek, but it was still a great experience to meet new friends too! #batur #bali #indonesia
