A memorable cultural experience at Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre

#bangkoktrip#theatre#cultural After visited The Grand Palace, my next stop was the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre, because The Grand Palace admission ticket is inclusive the Khon performances(total THB 500 for 4 attractions). We took the free shuttle bus which was waiting in front of the main exit of The Grand Palace to the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre, the bus started to depart an hour before the performance and the journey was around 15 minutes. The performances showcasing the Khon, an intricate masked and danced dramatic art recognized as UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage. Seamlessly blend graceful traditional dance movements, captivating instrumental, vacal renditions and elaborate costumes. The Khon performances lasted about 30 minutes, it was literally a memorable experience and best of all. ⏩There have 3 scheduled performances daily which are at 1pm, followed by 2.30pm and then 4.00pm. ⏩ Overall rating: 4.8/5.
