If you are taking scenic spot transportation, you will park at designated locations (in the order of Rekong Hot Springs - Zhangde Grassland - Haimen Stone). The final destination is Haimen Stone, after which you will take a scenic spot electric car to the core scenic spot. 🚗Scenic Spot Road Conditions The total length of the road inside the scenic spot is about 30km. Due to the construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, there is a 1km rough road inside the scenic spot with shell craters. Other places are paved roads. It is recommended to purchase a scenic spot transportation package if you are driving a sedan. ⚠️Complaints Scenic spot transportation requires at least 4 people to depart. We waited for almost an hour and the bus still didn't leave. This is a sign of poor management. It is recommended to change to a fixed departure time. 🐏Scenery 1⃣️. Zajinjia Bo and Zajinjia Mu Legend has it that they are the reincarnation of King Gesar and his queen Zhu Mu. The exposed granite mountains are very beautiful, typical glacial erosion landforms. Although the altitude is not high, the mountain shape is impressive. 2⃣️. Zhangde Grassland Known as the most beautiful high-altitude grassland, the nearby grassland and streams + the mid-distance mountain slopes and Tibetan houses + the distant mountains and pine forests, it really looks a bit like the Dolomites in Italy. 3⃣️. Cuo Pu Lake Located at the foot of Zajinjia Bo Mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides, the lake water is clear, and there are many wildflowers by the lake. Cuo Pu Lake is known as the "First Holy Lake of Kangba". There is a boardwalk along the lake, and there are marmots near the Tibetan houses by the lake. The mountain and lake complex is the core scenic spot of Cuo Pu Valley. The lake is surrounded by pine forests, and the combination of mountains, pine forests and lakes is very similar to Banff. 4⃣️. Rekong Hot Springs Cuo Pu Valley is rich in geothermal resources, with more than 1,000 hot springs of various sizes. The temperature can reach 93 degrees, and you can boil eggs and corn inside. It is also a good idea to try hot spring boiled eggs when visiting Rekong Hot Springs. 5⃣️. Kangzhu Lacuo and Zhima Yongcuo Cuo Pu Valley is considered the "culprit" of the Jiuzhaigou substitute. The lake water is crystal clear, and it is indeed very similar to some of the lakes in Jiuzhaigou. The scenic spot staff also strongly recommend this pair of "sister lakes". However, I think the scenic spot's trump card is not these two small lakes, but the super complex landscape composed of grasslands, forests, lakes, snow-capped mountains and temples.
