Sam Poh Footprint Temple ⛩️👣

Penang is so full of legends. This temple is supposed to contain the footprint of Admiral Cheng Ho. There is also a stone statue dedicated to him. Remember to climb up the steps to get a scenic view of the bridge. I recommend a visit here to enjoy the fresh sea breeze, fishing boats, giant footprint, beautiful garden and temple and serene environment. 🌸 The view of the ocean from the temple with fisherman, boats, wooden bridges, coconut trees and the beautiful Penang bridge is truly mesmerising. Local fisherman come here everyday to pay their respect to the shrine before heading to the sea. 🌊 Well maintained small temple site. Inside one of the building you can see a shape which looks like a huge food. Information boards tell you the story of the origin.
