The best Peking Duck in Beijing

#foodie #tripblazers #beijing When you travel to Beijing and think about dinner, of course you’ll want to find a place to sample the famous Peking Duck - but where should you go? With so many reviews and almost every restaurant offering the dish, it’s hard to make a decision. We decided on Siji Minfu - an award decorated restaurant nearby Jinyu Hutong, and here’s why: 1) Peking Duck at Siji Minfu is freshly roasted per order and carved in front of you by expert chefs. Not only that, but you can get a small cultural lesson in wrapping the pancakes right at your table. This blend of experience and taste is absolutely perfect. 2) Siji Minfu has many signature dishes to offer that all have an explosion of beautiful flavours, without the leftover greasy feeling. We recommend the delicately fried pork balls, tower of sweet fried aubergine and flavourful pea shoot greens. 3) You can reserve a table on their mini program, which meant for us only a 20 minute wait outside the venue. This made a huge difference as we had little people with us, and saw other groups waiting outside for over two hours (although after tasting the food, I would say this is worth it too!)
