Tiananmen square

A great stopping point while wandering the streets of Beijing. Getting There🚕🚝 - located in the city center of Beijing. Being quite central there are a couple of metro stops in the area but Didi or taxi is the most convenient. Attractions⛩️🛕 - You can couple this with a visit to the Forbidden city which is within walking distance, as well as Jingshan Park which has a great view overlooking the area from the top of Jingshan hill. You can also wander the side streets and admire the old architecture. Food & Restaurants🥘 - we didn't see many shops or restaurants nearby but there are good restaurants and a few malls within a short taxi drive.
