Visit the Chinese Garden Museum during the Spring Festival

The Chinese Garden Museum, located at No. 15 Shooting Range Road, Fengtai District, Beijing, at the foot of Ying Mountain and by the Yongding River, opened in May 2013. Covering an area of 65,000 square meters with a building area of 49,950 square meters, it is the first national museum in China with a focus on gardens. The exhibition halls include two basic displays: the Ancient Chinese Gardens Hall and the Modern Chinese Gardens Hall, as well as four special exhibitions: the World Famous Gardens Expo Hall, Chinese Garden Culture Hall, Chinese Gardening Techniques Hall, and the Garden Interactive Experience Hall. The exquisite southern garden landscapes of Chang Garden, Yuyin Mountain House, and Pieshi Mountain House are particularly eye-catching. During the Spring Festival, there are not many visitors, and most activities are indoors, which is a good way to avoid the cold of winter.
