Zizhuyuan Park

Beijing's Zizhuyuan Park can be called a treasure park, with small bridges over flowing water, deep bamboo forests, and moonlit lotus ponds, it has all these features, and it's free with no reservation required. Large areas of green trees and lush bamboo are dripping with vitality, forming a natural oxygen bar. Just sit down and space out. In spring, peonies, fringe trees, vulgaris, and hydrangeas bloom in succession; in summer, when the lotus flowers are in full bloom, you can pay 15 yuan to take a leisurely ride in a hand-rowed boat through the lotus pond, with only the sound of oars splashing in the water and the croaking of frogs in your ears, and a full view of the lotus flowers and leaves within reach, which is quite poetic. The northernmost part of the park, the Youxian Mountain Pavilion, with its pavilions, terraces, towers, artificial mountains, strange rocks, and architectural corridors, is full of Suzhou-style charm and is great for young ladies to take photos in ancient and modern Chinese styles. Transportation is convenient, within the third ring of the city center, with multiple bus and subway lines leading to the entrance.
