My Life FIRST｜Exploring Hutongs with a Beijing Local, Zongshu Xiejie

In the Qing Dynasty, it was called Wang Widow Xiejie, later renamed Wang Guangfu Xiejie. The elderly usually do not call it Zongshu Xiejie, but still refer to it as Wang Guangfu Xiejie. In 1965, two small alleys to the north of the road, Guangfu Alley and Koudai Hutong, were merged and renamed to the current name. To the south of this street, there are two other small alleys, originally called Jigusitang East Alley and Jigusitang West Alley.
