Heavenly Clouds and Human Weaving: Jin Wen Yun Brocade Art Exhibition

The 'Heavenly Clouds and Human Weaving: Jin Wen Yun Brocade Art Exhibition' is currently being held at the China National Arts and Crafts Museum. At this exhibition, visitors can admire the rare and exquisite Yun brocade artworks. Jin Wen, born in 1954 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, joined the Nanjing Arts and Crafts Company in 1973, and later transferred to the Nanjing Yun Brocade Research Institute. He apprenticed under the remaining dozen or so Yun brocade artisans, learning the craft of Yun brocade weaving and mastering the entire Yun brocade manufacturing process. For decades, he has been engaged in Yun brocade weaving and research. He is a renowned Yun brocade artist, a national-level Yun brocade art master, a Chinese arts and crafts master, a representative inheritor of China's intangible cultural heritage (Yun brocade), and a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage Nanjing Yun brocade wooden loom flower weaving technique.
