Early autumn in Nanluoguxiang

I have always liked Nanluoguxiang. Although it is often criticized for being overly commercialized, I still like it because I don't inherently dislike commercialization; I just don't like monotonous commercial models. However, I feel that the shops on Nanluoguxiang are gradually changing, and the design of the stores, especially the window aesthetics, is constantly improving. The main street is a bustling commercial pedestrian street with all kinds of shops, including Western and Chinese restaurants, various drinks, snacks, souvenir shops, and clothing stores. Many shops have their own unique characteristics. The longest-standing shop on this street is probably Zamo Restaurant. I visited it more than ten years ago and thought the small courtyard was well utilized, with creative dishes that incorporated various cuisines. The overall taste was pretty good. The restaurant is still standing strong today, though I haven't tasted the food recently. I might try it again when I have time. Another favorite of mine is Beiping Coffee, a garden-style café that left a good impression on me. The old Sanyuan Meiyuan and Wenyu Cheese seem to still be around, and many new stores have opened, including Tangfang Coffee, which I also like. The main street is bustling, while the small alleys are very quiet. The cool and pleasant weather of early autumn is perfect for strolling through the alleys, watching the sunlight filter through the trees, seeing the small flowers and grasses growing from the corners of the roofs, spotting the quiet cats lying in the corners, and observing the elderly or children slowly wandering through the alleys. On one side, there is the bustling commercial atmosphere, and on the other, the peaceful and stable life. There are also the former residences of famous people scattered in various corners. Every time I visit, I have different experiences and always find a corner I like.
