Peking University is located at No. 5, Yiheyuan, Beijing. It was founded in 1898 and was initially known as the Imperial University of Peking. At the beginning of its establishment, it was the highest institution in China and the highest education administrative organ of the state, exercising the functions of the Ministry of Education and managing national education. Peking University ranks among the national "double first-class A", "985 Project" and "211 Project", and is one of the top universities in China. Peking University has six campuses: Yan Garden, Medical Department, Changping Campus, Daxing Campus, Wuxi Campus, and Shenzhen Graduate School. It has advantageous disciplines such as humanities, social sciences, economics and management, science, information and engineering, natural sciences, medicine, and new engineering. Taking advantage of the summer vacation, we and the children came to Peking University for a visit. We entered the school from the east gate and visited the gymnasium, library, Weiming Lake, Boya Tower, Cai Yuanpei statue, Yenching Academy, Huabiao and other attractions along the way, as well as Peking University School of Economics, School of Art, Beijing International Mathematics Research Center and other colleges and universities, to feel the charm of Peking University and the future dream of Peking University for children.
