Artist Qiu Zhijie's solo exhibition "Mirage" at the Nanchizi Art Museum is an exhibition about hiding and revealing, showing and hiding. The garden hides poems and calligraphy that can be forgotten. Qiu Zhijie integrates his creative inspiration into calligraphy and poetry, two classic traditional art forms. The Nanchizi Art Museum has many elements of Suzhou gardens, including Taihu stones dotted in the courtyard. The characteristics of Taihu stone are thin, wrinkled, leaking, and transparent. Thin and wrinkled are the real parts, leaking and transparent are the virtual parts, and the philosophy of life of ancient Chinese people is hidden between the virtual and the real. As soon as you enter the exhibition hall, there is a set of installation works called "Love Letters of Robots". The robot hands continue to write pen words under the control of the program, and many of the fonts come from the staff of the art museum. Once we wrote love poems on paper affectionately, now AI creation, robot writing, we have become forgetful. Does anyone still write love poems by hand? In the three large ink paintings, Qiu Zhijie interspersed handwritten place names and poems in the painting, which can be described as a combination of poetry, calligraphy and painting. There is a blue flashlight next to the painting. The audience can take the flashlight to illuminate the picture, and more rich poems will be presented under the light. Through illumination, you can see more hidden poems. Only when the hidden poems are discovered will the audience read those sentences carefully. Among the exhibits on the second floor, "Anti-Handwriting Children's Poems" is a lot of children's poems written by Qiu Zhijie in a reverse way from the last stroke. Each children's poem is full of imagination, and many of Qiu Zhijie's works are also imaginative. During the exhibition, many bloggers and internet celebrities came. They shuttled through the exhibition and became a kind of performance art. Almost everyone is dressed up and brought a photographer. Few of them watch the exhibition seriously. Taking pictures is the main purpose and they are tireless. Many of them are very beautiful, and they reveal a deep cultural heritage as soon as they open their mouths, which makes people lose interest in discovering their hidden beauty.
