The Simatai Great Wall is located on the north mountain of Simatai Village, Gubeikou Town, Miyun County, Beijing. It is part of the Great Wall of China and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1987. It is the only ancient architectural site in China that retains the original appearance of the Ming Dynasty and is designated by UNESCO as the "Original Great Wall". The open area of the Simatai Great Wall is from the 1st floor to the 10th floor. You can choose to walk or take a cable car to the Great Wall. For the two of us, it is undoubtedly the wisest choice to take a cable car to visit the Simatai Great Wall. The beautiful scenery under our feet and the lush mountain forests slowly drift past. The majestic figure of the Great Wall in the distance gradually appears in front of us. When we reach the end of the cable car, we are still 470 meters away from the 8th floor of the Great Wall.
