Nanluoguxiang.

Nanluoguxiang (Nanluogu Lane) is located in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was built at the same time as Yuan Dadu and runs from north to south. It starts from Gulou East Street in the north and ends at Ping'an Street in the south. It is 787 meters long and 8 meters wide. During the Ming Dynasty, it was part of Zhaohui Jinggongfang and was called Luogu Alley. In the 15th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1750), it was part of the Manchu Bordered Yellow Banner and was called Nanluoguxiang. During the Cultural Revolution, it was once renamed Huihuang Street, and later restored to its original name, Nanluoguxiang. There are 16 hutongs on both sides of Nanluoguxiang, neatly arranged in a fishbone shape. Overlooking the entire block is like a centipede, hence it is also called Centipede Street.
