I found a tall white marble stele at the southwest corner of the intersection of Jinghui Street and Langjiayuan Road in Chaoyang District - the tombstone of Xingna, the Minister of Works. The stone stele is more ancient and elegant against the beautiful autumn scenery. 🧥Xingna: Jueercha Xingna, also known as Xingnei, was a minister of the four dynasties of the Zhengbai Banner, and was a brave and good general on the battlefield, serving four Qing emperors, Nurhaci, Huang Taiji, Shunzhi, and Kangxi. In the first year of Shunzhi (1644), he entered Beijing with the Qing army and was promoted to the position of Shangshu. In the eighth year of Shunzhi (1651), he was dismissed from office for his crimes. Later, he was reinstated as the Minister of Works and listed as a minister of state. In the tenth year of Shunzhi (1653), he retired due to old age. During the Kangxi Emperor's reign, he was posthumously named "Minxiang". In the thirteenth year of Kangxi (1674), he died of illness. In memory of this old minister with great military achievements, Kangxi erected this stele and sacrificial text. 🌈Highlights: ✅The stone stele is 3 meters high, nearly 1 meter wide, and nearly half a meter thick. The stele is exquisitely carved, the text is clear, and it is well preserved. It is now a registered cultural relic protection unit in Chaoyang District. ✅The base of the stone stele is a dragon-headed turtle-bodied bixi (pronounced "bixi"), which is exquisitely carved and lifelike, and the lower half is hidden in the bushes and cannot be seen in detail. The stele is made of white marble, and the top of the stele is carved with four dragons, each forming a picture of two dragons playing with pearls, with a Qing dynasty official style, skillful carving, and beautiful shape. The stele is inscribed with the two characters "Chijian" in Manchu and Chinese.
