There are two magical ginkgo trees in the lobby of the Capital Hotel. One of them is a bit bare, while the other is lush and photogenic. If you want to avoid the crowds, you have to get up early. However, I personally think the best light is when the sun is directly overhead at noon. 1️⃣ Weekdays: There are not many people between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Even if there are, it's only two or three people. 2️⃣ Weekends: I tried going down at 9:00 am on a weekend, and there were already quite a few people. Everyone is very competitive, so I guess you have to go before 8:00 am on weekends to avoid the crowds. 3️⃣ Book an afternoon tea or lunch at the Japanese restaurant in advance. The price seems to be more than 500 per person, but it was fully booked a long time ago. In summary, I think the most reasonable option is to book a night at the hotel, so you can go down early to take photos. I think the price is reasonable for the location and service, and the staff are very enthusiastic. :) If you stay at the hotel, be sure to book Building A! Building B is relatively old, while Building A has updated facilities and is generally clean and tidy. The hotel also provides tea for guests taking photos, but I hope everyone doesn't litter when taking photos. It gets really messy when there are a lot of people, and I even saw people arguing on the second floor while taking photos. The second floor is really beautiful, even better than the Rurikoin Temple in Kyoto. The golden ginkgo trees are magnificent, worthy of Beijing.
