Zhenjue Temple in Autumn

Beijing Zhenjue Temple, also known as Wuta Temple, is a Lamaist temple built during the Yongle period of the Ming dynasty. It is named after the five pagodas on top of the Vajra Throne. The Vajra Throne is modeled after ancient Indian pagodas and is made of brick and stone. The pagoda is covered with niches and seated Buddhas, giving off a reddish hue. Surrounded by old ginkgo trees and persimmons, the entire building is exceptionally beautiful. The stone tablets and inscriptions collected from various places are also worth a long look.
