#traveldiaries I just returned from an amazing trip to Bologna, and I can’t stop raving about the city center! 🍝 The vibrant atmosphere, stunning architecture, and rich history make it a must-visit. The iconic Two Towers, Asinelli and Garisenda, dominate the skyline, and climbing up the 498 steps of Asinelli was definitely a workout, but the panoramic views were worth every step! The entrance fee was around €5. Wandering through the narrow streets, I stumbled upon countless cafes serving the most delicious tagliatelle al ragù—I recommend trying it at Trattoria da Gianni! The Piazza Maggiore is a lively hub with beautiful fountains and historic buildings. If you have extra time, don’t miss the Basilica di San Petronio.
