The path in the drizzle at Xiaowan

Normally, people in South China would choose a comfortable seaside hotel during the scorching summer days to play in the water, shovel sand, and zone out. Unfortunately, the real summer of 2024 has been late in coming, so even with the rain, they still want to take their children to the seaside for Children's Day. However, surprises often occur when you least expect them. The lobby of the Le Meridien is to my liking, adjacent to the seaside. Having afternoon tea and zoning out in the lobby is a nice choice; swimming in the pool on a rainy day has a different charm, with fewer people and the rain making it novel and joyful. The geographical location of the Le Meridien is excellent, with mountains opposite, so the rain adds to the beauty of the entire seascape with mist swirling around the mountains; moreover, the temperature is comfortable in the rain, and this large lounge chair on the balcony is so comfortable that one could lie on it all day long. Whether the weather is really pleasing or not is also a matter of mindset.
