Slovakia is a country with a population of only 5 million. The capital of Bratislava is only about 460,000. The local Chinese teaching foundation is weak, and local people don't know much about Chinese. The Confucius Institute was established in 2007. In the past 11 years, great progress and achievements have been made in spreading Chinese culture. During the Dragon Boat Festival, the Confucius Institute in Bratislava held a colorful Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. In the fun of the drums, the Confucius Institute students performed martial arts on the streets and danced the red. Long, many locals and tourists have stopped to applaud, especially for our tourists from China, who are friendly and proud of the most Chinese Dragon Boat Festival in a foreign country. After the show, the volunteers of the Confucius Institute also distributed free lunches such as dumplings to passers-by. The noon atmosphere at the scene was no less than domestic.
