Roman Archeological Sites in North Italy

I admit that I didn’t know much about Brescia back in the early 2000s, other than the fact that Roberto Baggio was playing there towards the end of his career. Now that I have started exploring Italy in-depth, I start to appreciate the country and the football knowledge that I had when I was young more and more. Located in Lombardy, Brescia has one of the largest Roman archeological sites in Northern part of Italy. Even if you don’t feel like staying here for too many days, the fact that it is located between Bergamo and Verona makes it a good pit-stop when you are crossing states and traveling from Lombardy to Veneto. #bucketlistreboot #italy
