Sunset View At Point Cartwright(Mooloolaba)

Point Cartwright Lighthouse is located at LOR 577 Pacific Blvd and is popular among locals only. I chance upon this place due when I was having some coffee and cakes in a nearby cafe on the amazing sunset that you will be able to capture at this point. This lighthouse is an active lighthouse which has been in operation since 1897 guiding ships into Moreton Bay. Of course, as technology improve, this light house now uses modern lights rather than the old oil lamp. For those who want to catch the sunset, I do recommend to come earlier as the car park is very very limited. If parking is full, you might even need to park down the street and walk up towards the lighthouse.
