Korea's 'Little Shanghai' | 'Busan'
| 'Busan'. Busan is the second largest city in Korea and also an international metropolis. It is known for its deep-water good harbor and is the largest port in Korea, making it one of the logistics centers in Asia.
Whether it's the mountainous and river scenery or its maritime views, it's an ideal place for tourism and sightseeing.
Best Season for Tourism:
The best season to visit Busan is in spring and autumn.
During these times, the sky in Busan is clear, and the climate is pleasant.
In spring, the sun shines brightly, and flowers bloom in abundance.
In autumn, the fall leaves decorate the world in colorful and rich hues.
Experience Busan's most representative tourist attractions:
Gamcheon Culture Village
Known as 'Busan's Santorini' for its unique and artistic scenery, this place was once a rundown slum. Later, with the push of Busan's 'Alley Art Project,' it became a well-known cultural spot.
The village's murals are the work of volunteers from around the world, attracting countless tourists for photos.
Haeundae
One of the eight scenic views of Korea, an important venue for domestic and international cultural events, the water temperature at Haeundae stays between 45 to 50 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
Bathing in the hot springs here can make the body healthier.
The sprawling beach is covered with thick fine sand, soft and smooth to the touch. As night falls, under the warm yellow lights of Busan, the beach becomes even more tranquil.
Busan Gamcheon Culture Village.
I strongly recommend getting the 2,000 won stamp tour map from the tourist center because it provides a route that allows you to see all the hidden gems of the village. The path was not difficult to navigate at all. I spent a total of 3 hours there. Don't miss the photo deck on the 4th floor of the community center.
Conveniently located near public transportation, this wonderful cultural village is worth the many walks and numerous steps when you go. You can spend an hour here or get lost in the back alleys for half a day. There is a lot of culture and art, and an interesting history as the village was once a refugee camp. It's a good idea to pay a small fee to get a stamp collection map because there is a good route to follow.
There are plenty of opportunities to take fun photos with noticeable scenic backgrounds and amazing murals. Many tourists enjoy the on-site costume rental that adds to the fun. Food and drink options are mostly a variety of bakeries/cafes. There are a few street food vendors, including a man cooking food with a butane torch over a fire grill! It's visually interesting and quite tasty. I highly recommend this place for a great half-day outing.
A wonderful cultural site; perfect for Instagram-worthy views. Highly recommended. Riding up and down is quite interesting; it took skill to maneuver the small bus around sharp corners and small streets.
For this seaside train trip, I want to go to Busan 10,000 more times!
Just finished a week's trip to Korea, and Busan left a deep impression on me! 🤩 Compared to Seoul, Busan is not only more cost-effective but also has beautiful seascapes that only exist in animations. 🎉 For the sake of taking this romantic seaside train, I want to go to Busan 10,000 more times! 🚂
🌊 Busan Two-Day Tour Guide:
Day1: Busan Station - Gamcheon Culture Village - Hujeon Village
Day2: Haeundae - Capsule Train - Busan Gwangalli Beach - Seomyeon Market
🚃 Gwangalli Beach Travel Tips:
1. The capsule train has two routes, one from Gwangalli Beach to Oepo (Haeundae), and the other from Oepo (Haeundae) to Gwangalli Beach. The second route is more crowded, but the first route is also great~ 😊
2. If you want to experience the seaside train, just navigate directly to Gwangalli Beach. Remember to use papayo navigation for more accuracy! 🧐 There are also many coffee shops near Gwangalli Beach, perfect for enjoying a coffee while watching the seaside sunset. 🌅
3. The photo spot in the first picture is on a slope looking towards the sea with a telephoto lens, just wait for the seaside train to pass by and snap it, there will be a train every few minutes~ 🚄
4. Next to this spot, using a telephoto lens to shoot the capsule train also produces great photos, and you can capture the beautiful sunset glow during sunset! 🌇
5. It is recommended to take the capsule train around 1 pm for better lighting and more photogenic shots~ 🤳
Come to Busan and experience this romantic seaside journey! 😘

🏖 Chill Vibes at Haeundae Beach
#exploreasia
Haeundae Beach looks like it's straight out from a postcard. The blue sea and the pristine, white sand makes it one of the famous beach in Korea. Along the streets, you'll find a lot of cafes, local and foreign cuisines!
At night, you can purchase firework and set it off by the beach, while overlooking the gorgeous bridge all lighted up. Plenty of bars open until after midnight too! You'll never be bored at this beautiful beach area.

The beach in the city, Haeundae Beach
#timetotravel
The bustling Haeundae area is the Central Business District of Busan, and also serves as the main tourist spot. The Haeundae Beach is always the main area where tourists go due to the beautiful beach front, nice restaurants, cafes and hotels. Even in weekdays, you see many tourists around in the day time, not to mention night time and weekend where tourists from all over the countries flocking to this place. At night, the best thing to do is to have a nice dinner, nice coffee then take a nice stroll at the beach front.
Tiger Tendon in Busan Haeundae
#timetotravel
Ever wonder how this shop get its name, Tiger Tendon? Well no one knows, maybe this shop is famous for serving tempura tiger prawns on rice bowl. During lunch time, this outlet will be full of diners waiting to dine in this famous outlet. The standard Tiger Tendon comes with 2 shrimps, 1 chicken, Pumpkin slice, Eggplant, mushroom and green chilli. Add on is available for shrimp and vegetables. The tempura is fried moderately without excess oil and the saltiness is also moderate. The shrimp is very fresh with a little sweetness in it. Typically one of the best Tempura rice bowl in Busan.

Watch the sunset over the sea in Busan, where lively life meets the azure ocean
I love cities by the sea.
The sea in Busan, infinitely close to life.
Watch the sunset over the sea, city walk from Busan Port to Gwangan Bridge.
Take the small paths to the seaside, each facing the ocean, filled with anticipation while waiting for the traffic lights at the crosswalks⚓️🌊
On one side of Gwangalli, there's the bustling life, and on the other, the azure sea.
The orange sun dips into the sea level, casting its glow on Busan Port, declaring another lovely day coming to a perfect end.
🅘🅝🅕🅞
Two favorite spots in Busan for sea viewing that I absolutely adore.
✔️ Busan Port (Yeongdo Bridge/Busan Harbor Bridge)
▫️ Great for aerial photography, or from the rooftop observation deck of the Lotte Building, overlooking the blue Busan Port.
▫️ The Yeongdo Bridge at Busan Port is interesting, a lift bridge that connects Busan city and Yeongdo. It opens for 15 minutes at 14:00 in the afternoon, and you'll see many people checking in and taking photos.
✔️ Gwangalli Beach (Gwangan Bridge)
▫️ Take the small paths to the seaside, each facing the ocean.
▫️ Recommended to visit around sunset, the golden moments and the blue sea are beautiful.
▫️ Gwangalli has a street market on one side and the sea on the other, full of the breath of life. There are many sea-view restaurants and cafes that are great for taking pictures.

They have a bridge in the middle of ocean connecting 2 cities at left and right side of the beach. Its so unique and pretty. There's a lot of korean cute cafes along the road infront of beach.
If you're in Busan, please dont skip this place and come during sunset. It feels like a magical place. Trust me.

The Most Beautiful Temple in Korea
This is our First Family Trip to South Korea - Busan
We planned to visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple for half a day and end up taking bit longer than we initially planned for as the scenery and view is breath taking. A very scenic and beautiful place.
Definitely worth to visit and don’t forget to try the Cheese and Honey pancake at the shop at the front. They also sells Potato Tornado / Twister and Marshmallow Ice Cream. #haedongyonggungsa

🛕 Haedong Yonggungsa Temple @ Busan
Another not to be missed spot when you're at Busan, Korea is the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple! It's a rare temple - as it's located right by the sea, and it offers quite a stunning coastal view as well!
Surrounded by the clear blue waters and lush greeneries, you can be sure you'll find healing at this place.
The temple features 108 stair steps and it represents human desires. It also has a lot of Buddhist statues and sculptures - we found one for "getting a male child" and "passing exam with flying colors"!
Rating (out of 5):
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Most beautiful temple in Korea!❤️
This is Haedong Yonggungsa Temple called to be the most beautiful temple in Korea.
It is located at the ocean in Busan City.
Just before the entrance there are many cafes and shops. Then as you enter the temple you start to see its beautiful architecture. There are many different kinds of flowers here and the whole roof is decorated with some colored hexagonal shaped structures.
You will see the statue of Buddha in the main temple and also the statue of laughing Buddha on the side.
If you will climb up the stairs, you will see the staute of wisdom goddess as well.
Then there is a small cave as well inside.
Hydrangea in different colors like white, blue, pink etc blossom there during the months of June and July.
You can also see a beautiful view of the ocean from there.
We ate a melon based ice cream as well which was quite popular in that area and this cafe was right at the temple only. That ice cream was a must try!
Overall very peaceful and serene environment and the temple has a very beautiful architecture!

#cherryblossom2024
The Haeundae Blueline Railway Park has made a difference, the sea view is incredibly impressive, as well as the range of emotions, giving you a more complete trip.
The Haeundae Blueline Railway Park features a 4.8km long track system, raised to 10m above water level, with a course that runs along the coast from the East of Busan. The Haeundae Blueline Sky Capsules are one of the best pieces of tourist infrastructure that I've experienced.

Sky High Delights: Busan Sky Capsule
#winhkflight
The Busan Sky Capsule offers a delightful way to enjoy the scenery while traveling back to Seoul. Visitors can choose between the beach train or the sky capsule, but booking the sky capsule in advance is recommended due to popularity. The 30-minute journey provides amazing views, and arriving early is essential to avoid long queues. Consider taking the capsule one way and enjoying a leisurely walk back for picturesque photo opportunities.
Overall, the experience is described as amazing, with great views and food options available. Taking food and drinks along for the ride adds to the enjoyment of this memorable experience
Hope to win a trip to Hong Kong to explore Sham Shui Po
Few hours by train from Seoul totally worths
Getting a highspeed train ticket, you just need 3 hours from Seoul, 8AM to 11AM, and you're gonna be in Busan.
Often heard about this city by cute accent in KDrama, I was kinda impressed by the beauty in real life. The 1st thing is capsule train to have a spectacular ocean view (near Haundae beach), the 2nd is the colorful village (Geumchon Village) which take 10 minutes taxi from the main station.
Busan is perfect for people who wanna get a getaway from Seoul, from 2D1N or 4D3N.
