For families traveling with children, the Sea Life Busan Aquarium is a great destination to experience the glass bottom boat atop the shark tank. Art lovers can visit the Gamcheon Cultural Village to enjoy the colorful and artistically painted walls. Busan is famous for its seafood. You can eat all kinds of fresh hoe—Korean sashimi. The nightscape of Busan will sweep you off your feet, with the brilliant lights of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the city reflected by the water. As you stroll along the harbor, it is an intoxicating experience.

I chose the route from Mipo to Cheongsapo
Taking the train from Mipo puts you on the outer track (by the sea)
Getting off at Cheongsapo is perfect for taking photos of the Cheongsapo Little Kamakura 📷
I chose the time slot from 13:00-13:30
As long as you arrive within this time frame, you can board
This time slot is quite hot
But you can capture the clear blue sky, white clouds, and the seaside with the capsule train ✔️
(Many people recommend the sunset 🌇 time slot, which is also beautiful)
Although there's no air conditioning inside, it's not stuffy
There are two fans and open windows, so the breeze comes in
The speed is not fast
The ride takes about 20-30 minutes
The scenery along the way is really beautiful and cute
There are cedar forests and a vast blue sea, perfect for photos .ᐟ.ᐟ
Usually, people choose to take the seaside train back from Cheongsapo to Mipo
Or there's a coastal boardwalk you can stroll back on
Since I had a plan to eat abalone porridge in Gijang later
I only chose a one-way trip～～～
(Anyway, the seaside train is shared with others, so it's fine to skip it)

A Luxurious Hotel Buffet Lunch in Busan
I visited before the pandemic, and it was so great that I wanted to share it with you all♪
It's a bit pricey...
But this hotel is truly wonderful💓
The place is 'Ananti Hilton Busan'.
We went there after visiting Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
I also explored the hotel, so I'll post those photos separately.
When I went, it was a buffet where you could choose your main dish.
They still offer a lunch buffet, but I'm not sure how it is now as it's not listed on their website...
Given the price, I assume you can still choose your main dish!
The buffet had so many options that it was hard to decide😋
The cheese was really delicious too!
The main meat dish had a nice garlic flavor and was very tasty~~
There were many desserts as well, but I ate so much that I could only manage some fruit.
This restaurant is located towards the back of the hotel.
The scenery on the way to the restaurant is beautiful, so I highly recommend it.
Also, you absolutely must explore the hotel.

I miss everything about Busan. It’s very beautiful city with many great places to visit to, nature, beach, ocean, culture, city vibe, shopping, foods, it has everything you dream of.
Either solo, couple or with family, i would recommend “Hotel 1” at Gwangalli Beach. The hotel is just in front of the beach and has this amazing view to the magnificent bridge and beautiful sandy beach. Absolutely breathtaking at night and so charming at daylight. You can even enjoy Saturday drone show from your room.
Also personally recommend to walk along the coastal walking trail from Cheongsapo to Mipo if you have time. It was truly amazing. I took sky capsule from Mipo to Cheongsapo, walked to lighthouses, spent sometime and back with beach train to Mipo station and alighted at Dalmaji ( one stop earlier) and walk back to Mipo Station. Dalmaji - walking trails and the BEST scenic routes along the entire path. It's considered a very short walk for me, If you want to take some nice pictures / videos, walk from dalmaji to mipo at sunset. It absolutely beautiful.
Gamcheon Cultural Village is famous and everyone knows about it. You can spend some time there if you have time. I would rather recommend Huinnyeoul Culture Village. The Huinnyeoul Culture Village is a colorful seaside spot to see art, enjoy cafes and food, and have a good time with friends or family walking along the coast. It’s even called Santorini of Busan. If you are going there, pls go down to Huinyeoul Coastal Tunnel, it’s quite many stairs but it’s really worth it.
I really couldn’t wait to go back again.

As one of the most representative landmarks in Busan, Haeundae Lighthouse is not only a source of pride for local residents but also an indispensable landmark in the hearts of tourists from around the world. It encapsulates the unique charm of Busan and is the soul of this port city.
Youssoful: A Hidden Gem for Perfume Lovers in Jeonpo-dong, Busan
Youssoful is located just a few steps away from Lee Jae Mo Pizza - Seomyeon Branch. The store features earthy tones and a clean, bright space. Despite the variety of scents, the atmosphere is surprisingly harmonious and pleasant. The products are mainly divided into perfumes and home fragrances. The bottles are made of dark brown glass with wooden caps, giving them a high-quality feel. The price (originally ₩58,000) is quite reasonable, making it a great value for money. With so many options, we had to ask the staff to spray the scents on test strips for us, but they were very friendly and accommodating. We happened to catch a discount, and ended up buying seven bottles in total. With tax refunds, each 50ml bottle cost around 1,000 TWD! Isn't that sweet? Busan is a great place to shop, and besides cute stationery and small items, we highly recommend visiting Youssoful.

My First Solo Trip to Busan Cultural Village
This time, I went on a solo trip to Busan, South Korea!
I used buses and trains for transportation!
Although it took nearly two hours to reach my destination because the place I was staying was far away, it didn't bother me at all.
The cultural village has several street stalls and a few shops where you can buy souvenirs⭐️

Since there are many uneven paths, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes😊

My Visit to Seonamsa
My visit to Seonamsa was a special spiritual journey filled with tranquility and meditation. When I arrived at the ancient temple, I felt calm and peace in every corner. I explored the temple and various landmarks. The temple was characterized by beautiful architecture and intricate details, and the well-preserved historical monuments reflected its heritage and culture. I visited the main hall, which houses the Great Buddha, a place for reflection and prayer. I wandered through the gardens surrounding the temple, strolling among the trees and beautiful plants that added charm and natural beauty. Wow... This place has an epic view!!! The beach is right in front of you, and the Gwangan Bridge unfolds like a painting :) The interior is clean and stylish, and I loved waking up to my favorite view of the Gwangan Bridge! It was a bit hot because of the full-length windows, but the view made it totally worth it!!! It was even better because I went there to celebrate my parents' birthdays, and they had such a great time and loved it so much!!🥺🏠💙

Busan's Hidden Gems Known Only by Locals
When you think of Busan, Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach probably come to mind, right?
But Busan locals also head to a less known spot, the Songjeong Beach. It's quite remote and a bit of a trek to get to, but it's worth it.
Despite the distance, it becomes quite popular during the holiday season as it offers a glimpse of unspoiled nature that feels refreshing.
The Beauty of Haeundae.
Haeundae in Busan boasts stunning seascapes, with beautiful coastlines, gorgeous beaches🏖️, and the bustling Haeundae Main Street, which has a magical power to make one forget their worries. The beach is not too far from the subway station; it's about a 10-minute walk from Haeundae Station towards the direction of the main street and the beach. Along the way, there are plenty of photo opportunities, and if you get tired, you can sit down at a nearby cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee and some dessert. It's a very pleasant and comfortable experience, highly recommended to everyone❤️

A definitely must visit place if you’re in #Busan! an hour ride from busan station. traveled by bus. just use navermaps and you’re good to go.
went here around early May 2024. temperature was cooling as there was no direct sun shining on that day, just covered with clouds. there was not much people around as we went there around 4pm (Korea time). Spent a total of 2-3 hours just wandering around and taking pictures.
The entrance to #Oryukdoskywalk was FOC but they do have opening hours.
They have a tourist centre there just incase you want to get phamlets or need some assistance to guide you as there is someone at the counter.
Food: there was not much food options there. Just a cafe and a convenience store.
Toilet: clean, available for both male and female (separated toilets).
Overall, a must visit place in busan if you’re into sceneries.

Rating: The alleys within the village are narrow, making a stroll along the coastal cliffs quite pleasant. Some walkways are currently under renovation, and construction vehicles are easily exposed, so finding the right angle for photos is necessary. It is also not possible to walk to the end. Whether on weekends or weekdays, there tends to be a crowd.
The most common sight is the coastal cafes, which are quite small inside. This is probably due to the fact that you can sit and enjoy the coastal scenery. The location is not easy to find. If the alleyways are well-lit, you can take quite nice photos, and there are also some Korean snack shops to explore as you walk.

Although it has been featured on YouTube, this Dakbokkeumtang restaurant was already famous among office workers in Central-dong. The taste might seem ordinary with a hint of curry flavor, but it occasionally comes to mind. The potato pancakes are delicious, and the ramen noodles are especially good. I highly recommend trying it with extra ramen noodles.
