Travelodge Kowloon, Hong Kong, China.

A great place to stay, with clean rooms, very friendly staff, and an excellent location. I would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant was downstairs and offered great food at a good price with a friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed staying here for 3 weeks and will be returning in the near future. Located right next to Nathan Road, this was a great choice for us because we wanted to 'relive' our experience from 42 years ago when we lived here for 2 years with RAF/DOD permission. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning! There is a restaurant inside the building, but it is not part of Travelodge. The menu was quite basic for breakfast but the dinner menu made up for it to some extent! The hotel staff were very polite and wanted to advise on travel and places to visit, but as I said before, we already knew what to do, where to go, and where to shop since we had lived here before. Also, the hotel could not have been in a better location to explore the night market (a must!) and the various shops and restaurants. The Star Ferry to Hong Kong Island is a 20-minute walk away if you're not too distracted by the shops and such! Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our visit and are happy we chose this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived there early in the morning and they stored our bags for the day so we could explore. When we came back later, check-in was very quick and easy. They upgraded us to a beautiful room. It was comfortable enough and close to everything we needed. The bed was too hard! The pillows were good enough. The shower curtain was a bit disgusting and dirty. But the night was quiet and restful enough.
