#summerdestinations I recently spent a fantastic summer vacation in Calpe, Spain, and it was a delightful experience! The highlight was definitely the Peñón de Ifach, the iconic rock formation that dominates the skyline. The entrance to the nature park is €5, and the hike up offers incredible views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding coastline. I also enjoyed the beautiful sandy beaches, like Playa de la Fossa, which is perfect for swimming and relaxing. For a taste of local culture, I wandered through the old town, with its charming narrow streets and the lovely Church of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, which is free to visit. Nearby, the salt flats are home to flamingos and make for a great afternoon stroll.
