Just returned from Angkor Wat, here's a practical guide for you

Recently, many people have been asking: Is Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat safe? Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia; recently, many Thai celebrities have been visiting for events. Angkor Wat is purely a tourist city, and my experience there was that Siem Reap has a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The city is quite clean, and the banks of the Siem Reap River are very enjoyable. As a city that relies on tourism for 90% of its income, it is very safe, with streetlights and some night market stalls. Locals are friendly and greet you with smiles. How to explore? Spend a day in Phnom Penh and three days in Angkor Wat. Plan three days for the small, outer, and grand circuits. The distribution of attractions can be easily understood from the first image. Overall, expenses are cheap, and you can choose to hire a car for travel. If you love culture and history, hire a professional guide; the service is nice, and prices are transparent with no hidden traps. Avoid hiring unlicensed guides as the price difference is minimal. How about hotels? In Phnom Penh, there are many hotel options ranging from 300 to 2000, so choose according to your preference and stay in the city center. In Angkor Wat, there are options from business to luxury hotels. If price is not a concern, stay at Aman, the most expensive hotel. Dress code: Avoid sleeveless clothing. Out of respect for religion and culture, Angkor Wat does not allow bare shoulders. It is recommended to wear clothing that covers the shoulders, such as short or long-sleeved shirts, or pair with a light jacket. Photo spots: Angkor Wat's colors are mainly dark, so pair with bright clothing and hats. Comfortable shoes are recommended as you will be walking in the scenic area. Use the architecture for photo poses as shown in the image. How to get there? There are direct flights from Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap. The drive from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap takes about 6 hours. Recommended itinerary: 1. One-day tour in Phnom Penh 2. One-day tour of the small circuit 3. One-day tour of the outer circuit 4. One-day tour of the grand circuit.
