Stepping Through the Mysterious Gate, I Fell in Love with This Land

Many friends have told me: You must visit Angkor Wat. At the beginning of this year, taking advantage of China Southern Airlines' international flights, I finally arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and stepped through this mysterious gate. We embarked on a motorcycle journey, and reaching this gate was truly awe-inspiring. I can't imagine how Henri Mouhot felt when he discovered this magnificent structure while chasing butterflies. It truly deserves to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The grand architecture and intricate carvings all speak of the Khmer Empire's past glory. Every wall and brick seems to tell a story. Entering here, I was deeply moved and found it hard to leave. We spent two days exploring the grand and small circuits of Angkor Wat, unable to experience every temple, but we chose a few we wanted to visit. DAY 1: Banteay Kdei - Banteay Srei - Preah Khan. DAY 2: Angkor Wat - Neak Pean - Ta Prohm. I recommend Banteay Srei, Preah Khan, Angkor Wat, and Ta Prohm. Banteay Srei is the most exquisitely carved temple, small but with breathtakingly intricate carvings. Preah Khan features warrior statues and sprawling trees, with a long corridor bridge at the entrance lined with stone warriors, though many are headless, the atmosphere is still grand. At Ta Prohm, you feel the power of time, with giant trees growing over ruins, many places have been toppled by trees, showcasing the strength of nature and the passage of time. It's my favorite temple. Angkor Wat is the essence of the ancient city and the most visited spot, with 2,000 Apsara statues scattered throughout the temple, each with different expressions. I even encountered a gentle monkey here, perhaps its temperament is shaped by the daily exposure to the Buddha's light. Angkor Wat is truly beautiful, with a mysterious and ancient charm, combining natural and cultural beauty. I believe I will return again. #AngkorWatTravel #CambodiaTravel #SiemReapGuide
