|Fall in Love in Cambridge: A One-Day Tour Guide. On this trip to the UK, Cambridge was a must-see. I first learned about Cambridge as a child because of Newton, and later learned more about it because of Byron and Russell. Of course, the most memorable thing about Cambridge is the IELTS books. 🚄Transportation It takes about 1 hour to get from London to Cambridge. We bought our tickets directly at the station, but it's said that buying tickets online in advance is cheaper. 🏫Attractions: We went during exam season, so many colleges were closed. We only visited the King's College Chapel and the Business School. [King's College] Tickets are sold in the shop opposite the main entrance. ⏰Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 9:30–16:30. Opening hours may change during exam season, so check online in advance. The King's College Chapel is a prime example of Gothic architecture in the UK. The fan-vaulted ceiling inside the chapel is exquisite, and the painting on the altar is Rubens' "Adoration of the Magi." [Cambridge Business School] We passed by, so we went in to take a look. The interior architecture and color scheme are very modern. I couldn't help but lament that I didn't work hard enough to become a top student. [Boating] You can't miss boating in Cambridge. There are two options: 1. Row yourself. Up to 5–6 people can row a boat, and it costs about £24 per boat. It's more cost-effective with more people. 2. Have a guide row for you. It costs about £17 per person, and you can listen to some commentary. We chose this option for the two of us. [Dinner] Browns Restaurant on Trumpington Street is an old British restaurant. We went in because of the environment, and later found out that it's the number one restaurant in Cambridge. Highly recommended!
