Mount Columbia

Mount Columbia is the highest peak in Alberta, Canada, at 3,747 metres (12,293 ft). It is located in the Canadian Rockies, in the Columbia Icefield area of Jasper National Park. It is also the second-highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, after Mount Robson. The mountain is popular with experienced mountaineers due to its challenging terrain, with glacial ice trails and steep climbs that require ice climbing and glacial navigation skills. The name "Columbia" comes from the Columbia River, which has its headwaters near the mountain.
