|||. Canterbury is far more than just an oil painting garden |||Many people are attracted by Canterbury’s oil painting gardens. The beauty is truly beautiful, but the scenery is indeed affected when the weather is bad. But Canterbury won't let this disappoint. Canterbury is famous for Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Canterbury is also known as the cradle of British Christianity and the holy land of the medieval Anglican Church. The town is not big but it retains many medieval-style buildings and many original ruins. My friends and I have visited many churches, but we still find Canterbury Cathedral very stunning. The empty courtyards and broken walls overgrown with weeds, on the one hand, represent the grandeur and solemnity of extreme luxury, on the other hand, the barbaric growth indulged by heaven and earth. The town also has many interesting shops and museums, crooked second-hand bookstores, and medieval hospitals. It’s fun to travel through the town by boat!
