The magnificent Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.

Located in the city of Casablanca, Morocco, the Hassan II Mosque is considered the third largest mosque in the world, second only to the mosques in Saudi Arabia and Mecca. The minaret is 200 meters high and the recitation of the Quran can be heard in every corner of the city. We listen to the deep recitation four times a day there. Visitor admission ticket is 120 AMD/person, less than 80 RMB. Visitors wear stickers and join different language teams for collective visits. Enter at the designated time, follow the tour guide for about 20 minutes of visit and explanation, and then take photos freely. This grand mosque was built in the late last century and took six years to complete. The designer was French. The majestic jade pillars in and outside the hall are magnificent and grand. Part of the mosque is built on the sea, and upon opening the exquisite doors, one faces the vast ocean. The interior walls of the mosque are covered in marble with exquisitely carved patterns on the roof and pillars. The marble floor is shiny and exquisite. The decoration of the mosque is different from that of Buddhist and Christian churches, with no floral, animal, or human sculptures or paintings, but only geometric shapes. Islamic images of Allah are also not displayed. The marble floor has heating in winter, and the roof can be opened for ventilation in summer. The main hall can accommodate 25,000 worshippers, and the outdoor square can seat up to 80,000 believers. The construction of this mosque cost more than 500 million US dollars, with most of the funds coming from domestic and foreign donations from believers, and the materials used are the best in the world, many of which are from South Africa and Italy. At the entrance, there are plastic bags for shoes, please take them yourself and wearing socks is allowed. Visiting is prohibited during prayer time.
