Changsha | Alone in the cold autumn, the Xiang River flows north, at the head of Orange Isle

The poem 'Qin Yuan Chun - Changsha' from the textbook is memorized by heart, and for so many years I've only seen these black characters on white paper, never truly experiencing every word of the poem. This trip to Changsha, I finally got my wish to come to the banks of the Xiang River, to see Orange Isle for myself. Alone in the cold autumn, the Xiang River flows north, at the head of Orange Isle. Seeing the mountains all red, the layered forests dyed; the river so clear, the boats racing. Eagles soaring high, fish gliding in shallow waters, all creatures under the frosty sky vying for freedom. Feeling melancholy and vast, I ask the endless earth, who determines rise and fall? We arrived at Orange Isle just as the sun was about to set. This large park covers a vast area, and its most famous feature is the statue of Chairman Mao. It would take about an hour to walk there. The park offers electric carts for 20 yuan per person, with a total of 5 stops where you can get on and off five times. On one side there's a large green lawn and gardens, on the other the scenery of the Xiang River and the brightly lit opposite shore. Due to time constraints, we got off at the third stop. The map showed many garden houses, but it was getting dark, so we just strolled along the path at random, then walked towards the group of stone sculptures of Chairman Mao. We didn't stay long, it was a quick visit! I can't help but marvel, having a large park by the river is really great. Coming here for a walk in the evening, the air, environment, greenery, and scenery are all wonderful.
