Check-in: Liaoning Chaoyang Qingfeng Ridge

Check-in: Liaoning Chaoyang Qingfeng Ridge 👍Highly recommended: 🌟Highlights: Since I recently got into cycling, I looked for a place that was acceptable and just went for it. Before setting out, a friend told me that Qingfeng Ridge was like a big park, so I timed it to leave the city at 5:55 AM and arrived at the ticket office at 10:15 AM. I probably got back to the ticket office around 2:30 PM and reached home by about 7:00 PM. P: I went on a weekday, and the entire scenic area had only a few staff members: a ticket-selling young lady, a sightseeing car driver, and a guy whose job I didn't know. As for visitors: a family of three, an adult with a child, and me. I thought I would finish touring in two hours, but after arriving, I discovered there were mountains to climb, so I started. The path wasn't difficult, all stone steps with tall weeds on both sides. It seemed like not many people climbed it, and there were lots of bugs... butterflies, crows, magpies, and so many cicadas making noise...!! I even saw a small snake!!! About as thick as two fingers, it was quite scary at the time, but there was no turning back, so I had to keep climbing. My route: Yulin Gully - Film and TV Base - Dongbing Gully - Combat Site - Northeast Gully The mountain top was really super beautiful, all mountains, and I experienced the feeling of layers upon layers of mountain ranges. The weather was cloudy that day, which was great. As for the Film and TV Base, it's the filming location of the movie 'China Land.' I haven't seen it, but the houses and such had a vibe, like a small village with many small houses. Inside the houses, there were wardrobes, large kang beds, and firewood stoves (this is the only place in the scenic area where food and drinks were sold. The cheapest water I bought was 2 yuan per bottle). The Combat Site had a large stone gate of 'China Land,' see picture 15, and some war heroes or something. The last two photos are of the mountain climbing trail and the time spent on this cycling trip. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. Looking at the mountains and rivers, I felt very relaxed. However, if you're not physically fit, I wouldn't recommend cycling here; driving yourself is still doable.
