Chatsworth House

#thingstodo Visited the Christmas Experience on 30th December. At £34 for an adult ticket, it wasn't cheap but in our view excellent value for money! We had an amazing afternoon. The house was beautifully decorated in an advent theme and the illuminated gardens and light projection onto the side of the house were spectacular. Everything was excellently managed by courteous and efficient staff and there was no waiting for anything even though it was fully booked on that day. All in all a truly magical experience. Highly recommended as a Christmas event for all the family to enjoy. We will definitely return next year! Chatsworth House is a beautiful, picturesque and grand stately home that is worthy of a day out with family. We went to visit the Christmas decorations at the house and illuminated trail around the garden. It is highly recommend to do both in the winter months. There is also a farm on the estate, which children will enjoy. Also, there is a cafe that serves a good selection of food.
